The CW network has released a new poster for Arrow, the action adventure series based on the DC comic Green Arrow.  The "Destiny Leaves Its Mark" poster is dominated by the image of a shirtless Stephen Amell, whose torso is a virtual roadmap of artistically applied and arranged simulated scar tissue. 

 

Arrow is slated to debut on the CW at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012.  With its series debuting later than the big three network’s shows, the CW is doing a good job of building up interest among comic book fans with the steady rollout of clips and posters as well as with continuing casting announcements such as yesterday’s revelation that Captain Jack (Torchwood’s John Barrowman) has been added to the cast (see "Captain Jack Joins 'Arrow' Cast").
