BOOM! Studios will launch Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, a new Adventure Time miniseries, in January under its KaBOOM! imprint.  The new six-issue miniseries will be written and drawn by Adventure Time storyboard artist Natasha Allegri, who also created the title characters. 

The main covers will be by JAB, Joe Quinones, and Vera Brosgol, with limited edition variant covers by Ethan Riley and Frank & Becky. 

The ongoing Adventure Time series, tied to the hit Cartoon Network TV show, has been a big hit for BOOM!; the most recent issue charted at nearly 20,000 copies in comic stores, between Marvel’s Defenders #10 and DC’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #2 (see "Top 300 Comics--September 2012").
