Dark Horse Comics has announced plans to collect author Sam Humphries (Higher Earth, Uncanny X-Force, Fanboys vs. Zombies) and illustrator Dalton Rose's critically-acclaimed, self-published mini-series Sacrifice as a deluxe hardcover edition.

 

Arriving on September 3rd, Sacrifice includes the complete six-issue series--five have already been published since the first issue appeared in 2011 and the sixth and final issue is scheduled for a March 20 release.  This deluxe hardcover will also feature additional artwork by Bryan Lee O'Malley (Scott Pilgrim), Cliff Chiang (Wonder Woman, Zatanna), Emma Rios (Captain Marvel, Hexed), Paul Azaceta (X-Men, CLiNT, The Amazing Spider-Man), and Lacey Micallef.

 

Dark Horse did not provide any information on the page count, size, or retail price. 

 

Another Humphries self-published work, Our Love Is Real, was picked up by Image (see "Image Picks Up Sold-Out Book").
