Greg Angel of The Dragon's Keep in Dillsboro, North Carolina shares his thoughts on Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie (see"Ophelia Lovibond Joins 'Guardians'").
How can there be a Guardians of the Galaxy movie and Marvel just completely forget about the original line up (the best line up of members) that founded the Guardians? Yes, the recent news that Yondu has been added to the team is good news, and a step in the right direction, but what about Charlie 27? Starhawk? Martinex? Vance Astro? Or even their enemies the Badoon? True, seeing Drax the Destroyer come to life on the big screen is great, but the other members of the current crew seems to be more suited for a Saturday morning cartoon than a big budget movie. A talking tree? And a blaster packing raccoon? Can anyone say Bucky O'Hare! I'm glad Marvel decided to make a Guardians movie, since I've been waiting on one for a while, but I just would have liked a little more thought put into the line-up than what they're using.
