Looking for something incredibly sticky with images of the Avengers on it?  Your prayers are answered with the announcement of the Avengers Assemble Duck Tape, from ShurTech Brands, which carries the Avengers brand and images of the the characters Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America.

This is the only comic-branded Duck Tape currently available from ShurTech, although the company does offer Hello Kitty, SpongeBob, Justin Bieber and One Direction Duck Tape and makes sports-branded products with the logos of NFL teams and Division I colleges.

The new product allows you to "add a heroic twist to repairs, crafting, and more," according to the announcement.

We would have thought the brands an odd pairing, but ShurTech director of licensed products Traci Finkelmeier explained.  "The Avengers' combination of powerful qualities goes hand-in-hand with the strength, versatility and durability that's helped Duck Tape stand the test of time," she said.

The company says its brands are sold through mass merchandise, craft, hardware, home center, food, drug, office, auto and specialty retailers.
