DC Comics has announced Forever Evil, the first universe-wide crossover event since the 'New 52' rebooting of the DCU.
Launching in September, the seven-part mini-series will be written by DC Entertainment’s Chief Creative Officer, Geoff Johns, who recently ended a long stint on Green Lantern (see "Geoff Johns Ankles 'Green Lantern'"). The art will be handled by David Finch, Johns’ partner in crime on Justice League of America (see "DC's New 'Justice League of America' Comic").
Forever Evil, the first issue of which has a 3D motion variant cover, is part of "Villains Month" (see "September is DC Villains Month"), in which all the New 52 comics will be replaced by villain books. The action will take place in the aftermath of the upcoming "Trinity War" (see "'Trinity War'--DC Summer Event"), a crossover event running through Justice League, Justice League of America, and Justice League Dark.
