The main King Features heroes--Flash Gordon, Mandrake the Magician, and The Phantom--are set to star in a new series from Dynamite Entertainment, beginning in September.
 
King’s Watch #1, written by Jeff Parker (Dark Avengers, Red She-Hulk) with cover and interior art by Marc Laming (Planet of the Apes), finds the trio of classic heroes dealing with a threat of global proportions.  Millions of people across the world are having "nightmares of wild lands filled with horrible creatures."  Unfortunately, when the people wake up, they discover that the monsters are all too real.




 
Kings Watch #1 will be available digitally and in print.  Eisner Award winner Ramon Perez (A Tale of Sand) will provide the art for a special subscriber-only cover.
 
The announcement of Kings Watch follows on the heels of the release of Dynamite’s Flash Gordon:  Zeitgeist trade paperback (see "Preview: 'Flash Gordon: Zeitgeist' Vol. 1 TP").
