Disney Planning a ‘Star Wars/Phineas and Ferb’ crossover cartoon that will air on the Disney XD Channel in 2014. The hour-long animated special will put the two popular cartoon stepbrothers on the planet Tatooine where their ordinary fun-loving existence is challenged when a plan of the Death Star accidentally falls into their hands.
Even though it has been on the air for six years, Phineas and Ferb remains the #1 primetime animated series for kids from 6-11. The Star Wars crossover won’t be the first for the two brothers, who are well known for the grand projects that they undertake on their summer vacations. Disney has already put the duo together with some of Marvel’s top heroes in Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, which will air this summer (see "Trailer: 'Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel'").
