Viz will release a new All You Need Is Kill original graphic novel, and new Battle Royale books celebrating the property’s 15th anniversary, under its Haikusoru imprint..
 
All You Need Is Kill is Haikusoru’s first OGN.  Based on the science fiction novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, All You Need Is Kill is timed to release simultaneously with the cinematic adaptation of Sakurazaka's book, Edge of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt (see "Tom Cruise to Star in Light Novel Adaptation").  This graphic adaptation is written by Nick Mamatas with art by Lee Ferguson.  The full color OGN will be available on May 6, 2014 and retail for $14.99. 
 
Haikosoru will release two titles to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Battle Royale.  Koushun Takami's Battle Royale: Remastered features a brand-new translation of the classic dystopian story.  Coinciding with this new edition is Battle Royale Slam Book: Essays on the Cult Classic Novel by Koushun Takami, a collection of essays by various science fiction authors and critics on the book's impact and significance.  Both books will release April 1, 2014, Battle Royale: Remastered at $16.99, Battle Royal Slam Book at $15.99.
