UDON Entertainment is collecting the first year of Bravoman Webcomics (see "ShiftyLook Nabs 'Alien Confidential,' 'Rocket Fox' Webcomics”) into a 152-page hardcover graphic novel, shipping in November. Named, appropriately enough, Bravoman Volume 1 Hardcover Graphic Novel, the book will feature more than 130 strips, plus such bonus features as pin-ups, rough sketches, and creator commentary.
Bravoman, written by Matt Moylan with art by Dax Gordine, is based on a humorous Japanese beat-’em-up arcade game released by Namco Limited in 1988. (Americans can play a console version of the game via the TurboGrafx-16 or the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console.) The popularity of the strip, which began on the ShiftyLook Website in 2012, led to an animated series called Bravoman: Cartoon of Unequaled Excellence (see "ShiftyLook Announces First 2 Animated Series").
