This week is "Geek Week" on geekcentric YouTube channels, and this timely celebration of "Geek" culture comes complete with TV ads luring viewers to sample Geek Week delights on You Tube. The Cartoon Network, which is a major beneficiary of the growing geek audience, is doing its part with LEGO-ized opening for its popular Adventure Time cartoon series (which has spun off a very popular series of graphic novels from BOOM! Studios KaBoom imprint).
The little blockheaded LEGO figures are nearly ubiquitous in pop culture today with Marvel using the distinctive character design elements in a major series of variant covers (see "Marvel Plans 21 Lego Variant Covers"), and there are the numerous LEGO movies ("'Star Wars' Lego, "'LEGO Ninjago--The Movie'," and "'Batman' LEGO").
