Jay Bardyla of Happy Harbor Comics in Edmonton (Alberta), Canada comments on the manga title Attack on Titan appearing on the August BookScan chart (see "August BookScan--Top 20 Graphic Novels") and how early volumes are not available.
In regards to the comment in the article about August's BookScan numbers that comic stores are not ordering Attack on Titan, part of the problem, at least in our neck of the woods, is that most of the early volumes are not available to order through our main distributors. Without earlier volumes, the level to increase orders for future volumes should remain slight, we feel. We would like to stock it deeper but why have tons of 7 to 10 if we can't get volumes 1 through 5?
