New York Comic Con News: Dynamite Entertainment announced today that artist Joseph Michael Linsner has signed on for the first ever crossover event for his creation Dawn, who will join forces with Dynamite’s Vampirella in a six-issue Dawn/Vampirella miniseries that will debut in early 2014. Linsner is creating both the script and covers for the crossover series.
Linsner is obviously pleased with the prospect of a team-up between these two iconic female heroes, stating: "Vampirella is comic book royalty, right up there with Wonder Woman, Sue Storm, and Red Sonja. She is an icon; there is only one Vampi. In many ways, she is the original independent "Bad Girl." She started in black and white, and so did Dawn. It is an extreme honor to have Dawn share the stage with Vampirella in her very first crossover."
Look for more details on the Dawn/Vampirella crossover to be released in the coming weeks.
