New York Comic Con News: Dynamite Entertainment has announced that Andy Diggle and his wife Angela Cruikshank are writing Control, a new entry in Dynamite’s growing line of crime comics that will debut in early 2014 with art by Ben Oliver.
Control is a police procedural that follows an investigation led by Detective Kate Burnham into a murder with elements that quickly lead to what appears to be a conspiracy among the highest echelons of Washington DC power brokers. The series will examine the top-down application of power by vested interests, from Senator down to street cop, and from the upper echelons of a criminal empire to the victims at the bottom of the food chain.
