The clawed Canadian with the killer sideburns is getting the All New Marvel NOW re-launch treatment beginning in February. Wolverine #1 will be written by Paul Cornell (Action Comics) and drawn by Ryan Stegman (The Superior Spider-Man).
Taking place in the aftermath of the "Killable' storyline, "Payback" finds a dark, desperate Logan seeking revenge after Sabretooth has beaten him to a bloody pulp and left him to die. Before facing the mangy mutant again, however, Wolverine must "get better, stronger, and smarter than ever before." Unfortunately, this will require working for a crime boss and some lesser super-villains.
Wolverine #1 will feature special "augmented reality" content available exclusive through the Marvel AR app, including cover recaps and behind-the-scenes information, and a code for a free digital copy.
