Marvel will launch an All-New Marvel NOW Moon Knight series written by Warren Ellis, with art by Declan Shalvey and colors by Jordie Bellaire, in March.
Ellis describes the series as a ground level title focusing on “weird crime.” He also said this story "unifies all the previous takes, making the character whole and taking him forward into a new kind of crime fiction."
The last go-round for the character as a stand-alone ongoing series had Moon Knight successfully written by Charlie Huston in the mid-aughts (see "'Moon Knight' No Longer a Mini"). Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev did a series in 2011 (see "Marvel Teases Big Shots"). This year, the character was featured in the Age of Ultron series (see "Marvel Unveils New 'Age of Ultron' Teasers").
The new series will see Marc Spector returning to New York City, after he’s gotten medical help for his dissociative identity disorder.
