Marvel has revealed the title behind its one-word teaser "Infamous:" Magneto will appear in his own series debuting in March, written by Cullen Bunn (The Sixth Gun, Fearless Defenders, Venom, Deadpool), with illustration by Gabriel Hernandez Walta (Astonishing X-Men).

Bunn promised a rather noir book, with Magneto going solo and playing gumshoe as a self-appointed bloody guardian angel for mutantkind.  "Magneto in this story is very much a detective, seeking out and investigating threats to mutants before cutting loose with all the fury of a supervillain--or superhero, depending on your point of view," he told USA Today.  Bunn spoke extensively about the character’s moral ambiguity being the appeal of the character, and hopes readers will latch on to the anti-hero theme.

The series will also revolve around Magneto retraining his powers that were broken by the Phoenix Force, and there will be two organizations that will hold recurring roles in the series:  S.H.I.E.L.D. and a new form of the Acolytes.  The character’s connection to his children, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, will eventually play a role as well.
