DC will launch a new weekly series, The New 52: Future’s End, with a #0 issue on Free Comic Book Day. The series will be written by Jeff Lemire, Dan Jurgens, Keith Giffen and Brian Azzarello. The #0 issue will be drawn by Ethan Van Sciver.
The New 52: Future’s End is set five years in the future, and will focus on the past, present, and the future through exploring different characters including Frankenstein (past), Firestorm (present), and Batman Beyond (future), according to AP.
This is DC’s second weekly series for 2014; the other, Batman: Eternal, was announced at New York Comic Con (see "Stephanie Brown Returns in 'Batman: Eternal'").
