At Toy Fair, Cryptozoic announced a new co-operative dice game based on Pendleton Ward’s animated series Bravest Warriors, for release this July.

The Bravest Warriors animated series depicts the adventures of four teenage heroes in the year 3085 who travel through the universe to save alien worlds from evil.  In this new cooperative dice game, each player assumes the role of one of these heroes, trying to defeat "Events" and “Encounters” together.  To accomplish this, each player uses a share of the 12 custom dice, special "Portal" cards, and their character abilities to generate the required mix of symbols.

The players win this humorous game if they can defeat all of the Event cards or earn enough victory points before they fail five Encounters, run out of Portal cards, or if too many "Bravest Warriors" are knocked out.

Bravest Warriors will have an MSRP of $25.00.  Up to six players can play together, and solitaire play is also supported.  The game is designed to play in less than half an hour.

Bravest Warriors is a web series by Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward, running on Cartoon Hangover, Fred Seibert’s website for new animation.  It’s already spawned a fair amount of licensing, including comics from BOOM! Studios (see "BOOM! Adds Second Title from 'Adventure Time' Creator"), a CCG from Catalyst Games (see "'Bravest Warrior' CCG") and books from VIZ Media (see "'Bravest Warriors' from Viz").
