At Sakura Con, Viz Media announced the October release of the first two volumes of World Trigger, a popular science fiction manga by Daisuke Ashihara that has been appearing in the Japanese edition of Shonen Jump. The first two volumes, which are due out on October 7th, are rated 13+ and will have a cover price of $9.99. New volumes will be forthcoming every two months after the series’ October debut.
In World Trigger, a portal to another dimension has opened up and from it emerge giant invincible creatures that threaten all of humanity. Earth’s only defense is a small group of warriors who have co-opted the alien technology in order to fight back.
