Jae Lee has created striking covers for the edgy Terminal Hero, launching from Dynamite Entertainment in August.  The new series written by Peter Milligan (see "Dynamite Signs Peter Milligan"), with art by Piotr Kowalski, is part  of Dynamite’s new Creators Unleashed line, which is beginning with Joshua Hale Fialkov’s The Devilers (see "'The Devilers' First in Creator Driven Line").

Milligan has promised a book with bite.  "I aim to push it to places that normal comic books don’t go," he’s said, and Dynamite has evoked Garth Ennis’ The Boys in describing Terminal Hero.  Dynamite picked up The Boys after DC walked away, and showed it can be a home for adult-themed material.

First issue
The story follows Rory Fletcher, a good guy who just found out he’s dying of an inoperable brain tumor.  The only hope lies with a banned therapy, Treatment Q.  But it has side effects, which make Rory question how good he really is, and just how much he actually wants to live.

Like other books in Dynamite’s new creator-driven line, Terminal Hero will be priced at $2.99, and (UPDATED), there will be no overprint.
