San Diego Comic-Con News: Dynamite Entertainment has announced the November launch of John Carter: Warlord of Mars #1, a new series written by veteran comic book scribe Ron Marz (Silver Surfer, Green Lantern), while newcomer Abhishek Malsuni will provide the art for the new series, which will be listed in the September edition of Diamond’s Previews catalog.
The announcement of the new John Carter: Warlord of Mars series, which is intended as the cornerstone of Dynamite’s Warlord of Mars line of comics, is the first fruit of an agreement reached between Dynamite Entertainment and the Edgar Rice Burroughs estate in May (see "ERB, Inc. & Dynamite Settle").
