Dynamite Entertainment has announced a new Lady Rawhide/Lady Zorro miniseries debuting in March.
The series will be written by Shannon Eric Denton (Knight Rider, Deadpool), with art by Rey Villegas (Lady Zorro, The Bionic Man), and cover artwork for issue #1 by Lady Rawhide co-creator Mike Mayhew.
The plot will see the two female vigilantes reluctantly team up after slavers steal all the adolescent girls from a village.
Lady Rawhide was introduced into the Zorro mythos by writer Don McGregor and artist Mike Mayhew in 1994. Dynamite released a collection of her latest adventures this summer (see "Preview: 'Lady Rawhide' TP"). Lady Zorro was created in 2012 by Matt Wagner and John K. Snyder III for Zorro Rides Again. She had her own series by Alex De Campi and Rey Villegas earlier this year (see "'Swords, Corsets, Cleavage, Dismemberment'").
