Mark Wheatley told ICv2 that Circle of Confusion, 'the folks that made the Matrix films, and New Regency, who distribute through Fox, and made the Daredevil film' signed an option on July 16 giving them the movie rights to the Hammer of the Gods comic book published by Image. Wheatley, the creator of the Hammer of the Gods comic, said that the producers had already assigned a writer to the project. Wheatley himself will write and draw a comic book adaptation of the film.
