DVD File is reporting that the Babylon 5 Season 5 DVD Box Set will arrive on April 13 from Warner Home Video.  The six-disk set will include 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers and Dolby Digital 2.0 audio throughout.  Special features include an introduction to Wheel of Fire (Season 5) by series creator J. Michael Stracynski; two additional audio commentaries by JMS; and audio tracks from cast members Bruce Boxleitner, Peter Jurasik, Patricia Tallman and Tracy Scroggins.  In addition the set includes two featurettes about Babylon 5, additional and extended scenes, Personnel Files, Data Files, and a gag reel.  The entire package has an msrp of $99.95.

Although Season 5 was the final season for Babylon 5, this box set will be not the final Babylon 5 release.  A collection of Babylon 5 telefilms should come out in the second half of 2004, and the 13 episodes of Babylon 5: Crusade should also appear in a single package before too long.
