The Figures.com Website is reporting that Diamond Select Toys is producing an exclusive Black T-Shirt Hellboy Beanie figure for Tower Records.  While Diamond Select's regular Hellboy Beanie is dressed in his long leathers, the Tower Records Exclusive Hellboy is in his 'at home' garb -- a sleeveless black t-shirt, which reveals the intricate designs on his right arm and a provides a better look at his stone fist.  Tower Records, which virtually invented the music superstore back in 1960, is 93-store chain.  This week Tower filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection (see 'Tower Files Chapter 11').

Diamond Select is producing a regular series of three 8-inch Hellboy Beanie plush figures including Hellboy, Ape Sapien, and Sammeal, which are available to all channels and have a suggested retail of $12.99.  The Hellboy film, which is directed by Guillermo del Toro and stars Ron Perlman, opens on April 2.  Retailers should have a fair amount of Hellboy merchandise available including action figures from Mezco (see 'Mezco Readies Hellboy Toys') and Sideshow (see 'Twelve-inch Hellboy Figures From Sideshow'), trading cards from Inkworks (see 'Hellboy Trading Cards Moved Up'), and of course, Mike Mignola's Hellboy comics from Dark Horse.
