MTV has ordered a pilot episode of Stan Lee's Superbunnies animated series, which features a crime-fighting, pajama-clad Hugh Hefner and a gaggle of Superbunnies, who spend their nights fighting crime rather than in the hedonistic pursuits hinted at in the pages of Hefner's Playboy magazine. Hefner's name and likeness will be used in the 'edgy' animated series and he may well end up voicing the part as well. With tongue planted firmly in cheek, Hefner told Reuters: 'It is time to reveal my secret identity. You all know me as Editor-in-Chief of Playboy, but late at night when everybody assumes I am in the grotto living the good life, I'm out there with the Superbunnies fighting evildoers.'
