According to the Hollywood Reporter, Incredible Hulk producer Gale Anne Hurd is joining with Scott Mitchell Rosenberg's Platinum Studios to produce a feature film, Atlantis Rising, which is based on the Platinum Studios graphic novel Atlantis.  Created by Scott Rosenberg and written by Scott O. Brown, Atlantis is a political science fiction thriller in which an underwater kingdom teeters on the brink of war with the surface world.  Hurd is producing Atlantis for Valhalla Productions, while Aaron Severson and Jay Burns are co-producing for Platinum.

In addition to the feature film, Icarus Studios is planning to develop a massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the property.
