Dick Jude, the Senior Buyer for the London-headquartered Forbidden Planet chain, will join Cards Inc. in January as Product Manager responsible for the purchasing of non trading card product and coordination of the release of Cards Inc. own licensed releases.  At a time when many companies have been either abandoning or cutting back on the production of trading cards, the UK-based Cards Inc.has been aggressively pursuing new licenses and the manufacture of additional kinds of collectible licensed merchandise (see 'Cards Inc. Announces Licensing Deals').

Dick Jude, who in addition to his other talents is also an excellent drummer, has been with Forbidden Planet for 24 years, working his way up from Book Buyer/Assistant Manager of a single store to Senior Buyer for one of Europe's most important chain of pop culture stores.  He will join Cards Inc. on January 3rd.
