FUNimation has announced that it is cutting prices on the first seven uncut volumes of Yu Yu Hakusho Spirit Detective Saga to $16.98 suggested retail, beginning November 2nd.  

The seven titles on which prices will be cut are:

Yusuki Lost, Yusuke Found

Artifacts of Darkness

A New Apprentice

The Gate of Betrayal

The Beasts of Maze Castle

Seven Ways to Die

Rescue Yukina

Yu Yu Hakusho is currently airing (and getting good ratings) on Cartoon Network's weekend Toonami block (see 'Toonami Block Gets Saturday Night Fever').  FUNimation also says that Yu Yu Hakusho DVD sales are at an all time high.  The company sees this lower price on the early volumes as a great way to introduce fans to the 112 episode series, which will eventually all be released in the states in 31 volumes.
