According to the Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Clowes, the comic creator/screenwriter of Ghost World, has been tapped to write Backyard Resistance, based on a group of three youngsters who did a shot-by-shot remake of Raiders of the Lost Ark.  The remake, titled Raiders of the Lost Ark:  The Adaptation, was begun in 1982 and finished seven years later. 

 

The film based on Clowes' last screenplay, Art School Confidential, started shooting in July with director Terry Zwigoff.  Art School Confidential is based on a story from Eightball.
