CrossGen founder Mark Alessi has gone back to the business that earned him the money he lost on CrossGen, information technology consulting.  The Website for Elite Associates, Inc., an IT consulting firm specializing in 'business and IT alignment,' lists Alessi as CEO and a founder.  Elite Associates was founded by several former executives of TRC, which Alessi founded, ran, and sold to Perot Systems in 1996.   The primary service Elite provides is to develop 'alternative IT Roadmaps (or plans) based on a client's strategic business goals and business processes.'

Jennifer Alessi, who as Jennifer Hernandez was general counsel at CrossGen, holds the same position at Elite.

Defunct comic publisher CrossGen, $10 million in the red, is being liquidated in a court-supervised 'reorganization' (see 'CrossGen 'Reorganization Plan' OK'ed').
