Dynamite Entertainment has signed a deal with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group to publish comics based on Xena, the Warrior Princess.  The character was originally developed in the Hercules TV series, then spun off into its own series, which is currently available on DVD.    

Dynamite hasn't announced release date, creative team, or other details, but says that a writer has been assigned and is working on the script. 

Dynamite is building a line of comics based on licensed media properties, including Red Sonja, Lone Ranger, Battlestar Galactica, Army of Darkness, and Highlander.
