Reports from the Frank Miller panel at last weekend's WonderCon convention indicate that the creator of Sin City is involved in a project to make a movie out of his Hardboiled graphic novel (published by Dark Horse).  The 1993 Eisner Award-winning Hardboiled is as memorable for Geof Darrow's great artwork as for Miller's twisted storyline, but there is little doubt that its movie-mimicking plot machinations should play well on the big screen.

Miller also told the audience at WonderCon that the principal photography on the screen adaptation of his 300 graphic novel (also Dark Horse) is done, and that he thoroughly approves of the look of the film, which closely approximates his stylized graphic novel (see '300 Movie Nears Completion').
