Dynamite Entertainment will launch its Xena comic (see 'Dynamite Announces Xena Comic Series') in July, with the creative team of writer John Layman and artist Fabiano Neves.  Layman is scripting the DC/Dynamite crossover (see 'Red Sonja Meets Claw the Unconquered').  Neves penciled Dark Horse's Xena series.

The launch issue will feature three covers. Fifty percent of the comics will run with artist Billy Tan's cover.  The other 50% will split equally between Neves' cover and a photo cover.

Incentive covers will also be available.  Retailers will be able to buy one Billy Tan Sketch Cover edition for every 15 copies of Xena #1 ordered, and one Tan Negative Cover edition with every 30 copies ordered.
