Great Eastern Entertainment has announced the release of an 8-inch Kaoru Plush Figure, based on the key character from Nobuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin manga.  The Kaoru figure, which has a suggested retail price of $12.99, will be available later this month, and joins the Rurouni Kenshin plush figure, which is available now.  A plush figure of Sanosuke will be available in August and will complete Great Eastern's trio of Rurouni Kenshin plush dolls.

Viz's long-running Rurouni Kenshin manga will finally be available in its entirety in English with the publication of Volume #28 this July.  Throughout its publication cycle here in the U.S. the Rurouni Kenshin manga has been a consistent top ten performer and strong in both the bookstore and comic shop markets.  Viz will publish a Rurouni Kenshin novel, Voyage to the Moon World, in October, and a new series from Nobuhiro Watsuki, Buso Renkin, will debut in August.  Mr. Watsuki will be Viz Media's guest at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International.
