Upper Deck had originally planned a June release for a Superman Starter Deck for its Vs. Superhero TCG in order to take advantage of the mega publicity attending the Man of Steel's reappearance on the silver screen in Superman Returns, but the company has decided to postpone its Superman Vs. product until the spring of 2007.  An Upper Deck spokesperson told ICv2 that the company did not feel that adding an additional product to the Vs. line this summer was the best course of action. 

The next Vs. release will be Heralds of Galactus, a 220-card addition to the Marvel TCG due out in September, which will be followed in December by The Legion of Superheroes Expansion for the DC TCG, which will add 220 more cards to the DC game.
