An ICv2 Release.  ICv2 is proud to announce that Anne Gassere has joined the company as Managing Editor, a new position.  In that role, she will manage publishing operations for both the ICv2.com Website and the ICv2 Retailers Guides.

Gassere comes to ICv2 from American Girl, where she had the position of Managing Editor, Book Development.  Prior to her time in American Girl's publishing division, she worked for Capital City Distribution, where she was managing editor of ICv2's predecessor, Internal Correspondence.

ICv2 has added the new position and hired Gassere to support new initiatives planned for the coming year.  'We've got a lot of plans for new ways to serve our audience and our advertisers,' said ICv2 President Milton Griepp, 'and we're going to need a strong team to make it work.'

'We're extremely happy to be able to have Anne join our team,' Griepp continued.  'Her extensive experience in publishing, and her specific experience in this industry, will be very valuable.'

Gassere also stressed the connections to ICv2's origins.  'Working on Internal Correspondence was a very professionally satisfying experience,' she said.  'I am very fortunate to get to work with Milton and Tom [Flinn] again, and I'm happy to be back in this vibrant pop culture community.'
