BCI Eclipse announced plans to release The New Adventures of He-Man Vol. 1 on December 26th.  The six-DVD pack will be released under the company's Ink and Paint brand.

The New Adventures of He-Man Vol. 1 will contain the first 33 of 65 episodes of the spin-off that aired in 1990, along with two documentaries, two art cards by Ed McGuinness (Superman, JLA) and Bryan Hitch (The Ultimates), scripts, character bios, and storyboards.  The spine artwork combines with the previous He-Man and She-Ra releases to form a 'mural.' 

The New Adventures of He-Man Vol. 1 lists for $49.98.  No release date has been announced for Volume 2.

Demand is expected to be strong for the DVD sets, considering the popularity of the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe DVD collection releases last year (see 'He-Man at #17').
