Cartoon Network has begun airing the Naruto anime series at 5:30 pm (ET, PT) three days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).  Naruto follows Pokemon and Ben 10 in the after school block, and airing it in this prime slot should help increase awareness of the manga-based property that has dominated graphic novel sales in American bookstores since it first began airing on Saturday nights on the Cartoon Network in September of 2005.

Naruto is still airing during the Cartoon Network's Toonami block on Saturday night. On Tuesday afternoon Pokemon Chronicles airs during the 5:30 pm (ET, PT) timeslot that Naruto occupies from Wednesday through Friday.
