New York Comic Con has announced a major audio and video podcast program that will make the show a 'convention without walls,' according to Show Director Greg Topalian. 'This allows us to take our dynamic programming beyond a room of a few thousand people and showcase it to an audience that extends throughout the country and even the world,' he said.
Roughly 36 episodes are planned in several categories, including interviews with the guests of honor, a trip down Artist Alley, clips and interviews with winners at the American Anime Awards, highlights and interviews from our own ICv2 Graphic Novel Conference, updates and previews of electronic games, clips and reviews of major movie and TV releases such as Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society and Shinobi, and interviews with attendees.
The program is similar to one that debuted at sister show BookExpo
Podcasts will be released for several months following the convention and will remain available throughout the year.
