Upper Deck Entertainment is planning two major spring releases for its World of Warcraft Trading Card Game.  Through the Dark Portal, which includes Starter Sets (MSRP $14.99) and Booster Packs (MSRP $3.99), is due out in April.  Each Booster Pack contains 15 game cards and one UDE points card. Through the Dark Portal features original artwork from top creators and includes new 'Burning Crusade' content that should appeal to online WoW gamers.  Through the Dark Portal also includes new LOOT cards that provide new cosmetic upgrades for WoW online characters.

The Molten Core Raid Deck (MSRP $29.99), which is due out in May, is designed to facilitate multi-player gameplay by up to five players.  The Molten Core Raid Deck features a different set of rules than the one employed in the previously released Onyxia's Lair Raid Deck.  Players can either attempt to defeat Ragaros and his minions, or play as Ragaros and defend his lair against the marauding heroes.  The Molten Core Raid Deck also includes uniquely coded rare LOOT cards, which should appeal to some of the 7.5 million players of the WoW online game.
