Aberant Games has released Rezolution: Shadow War ($49.99), a science fiction miniatures game that comes complete in one box and is set in 2175, a dystopian age filled with conflicts and corruption. The deluxe Shadow War box is an Origins Award nominated two-player game that includes complete rules and seven story-driven missions along with 12 highly detailed metal miniatures, six data cards, Deviation Dice, six dice, and a tape measure. The Shadow War box features characters from two of the Rezolution's game factions, the CSO (Central Security Organization) and APAC (Asia-Pacific Force).
The Shadow War box is not just a two-player game, it is also part of a major miniatures game, Rezolution: A Dark Tomorrow, and all the miniatures from the two-player game can be employed in the larger conflict. A Rezolution: A Dark Tomorrow Rulebook is available for $24.99 and it outlines the complex conditions and conflicts of 2175. Later this month Aberant will release the Vatacina Crew Starter Set ($34.99) that introduces the religious-themed Vatacina faction with their quasi-clerical garb and potent Sentinel Robots. Other factions include the Dravani, the Ronin and the Mercs, all which can be added to the action via individual Crew Starter Sets, while the regular releases of new figures from all the various factions allow players to expand the range of game playing possibilities.
