Wizards of the Coast is providing Target with an exclusive 17-piece non-randomized Battle of Hoth Scenario Pack (MSRP $59.99). The Target exclusive, which will go on sale in November, is limited to 20,000 pieces. The Battle of Hoth Scenario Pack is the third non-randomized release for the Star Wars CMG -- the first two, the AT-AT Imperial Walker (2005), and Attack on Endor (2006) were both made available to hobby core.
A WotC spokesperson told ICv2 that the company hopes that the Target exclusive 'will be an awareness driver for the product line and help move mass consumers into the core for more specialized
This is the first time that WotC has done a 'ground up' mass exclusive (it has done some special packs in the past, but not an exclusive product).
