GAMA is changing the name of its annual consumer show from Origins International Game Expo to Origins Game Fair as of 2008.  To create a fair element, GAMA will add food vendors and more game demo areas in an area for which admission will be only $1.00.  Fair attendees will also be admitted to the exhibit hall.

'Plans are underway to have even more spaces for visitors to try games they may have never heard of before, while continuing to maintain strong offerings for game hobbyists the Origins has become known for,' said Anthony Gallela, executive director of GAMA. 'The additional demo spaces will be an invitation to the general public to join enthusiasts in their love of games.'

Origins 2008 will be June 25-29 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
