WizKids has announced that it is delaying the release of MechWarrior: Dark Age, its Battletech-based miniatures game, to August 21. According to the announcement, the delay was made necessary because orders have outpaced forecasts and production was not able to keep up. Rather than shipping only a small percentage of initial orders in the first wave, WizKids is delaying the release to make a higher percentage available in the first shipments. DC HeroClix, WizKids' next major release, is reportedly still on schedule.
