Wizards of the Coast will be a title sponsor of the 43rd annual Gen Con this August in Indianapolis, and will also sponsor the TCG Hall at the show.  Special WotC events at the show will include Summer of Multiplayer events for Magic:  The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons gameplay, a Dark Sun Arena Circuit, and more gaming, seminars, and guests. 

Gen Con is reporting that its advance ticket sales are running ahead of 2009’s. 

Last year, Gen Con had two co-sponsors, Wizards of the Coast and Upper Deck (see “Gen Con Co-Sponsors Announced”).  Upper Deck has drastically reduced its game output in recent months and also reduced its participation in GAMA Trade Show (see “Attendance Grows at GTS”).
