Gold Rush Games and DOJ (Hero Games) have announced that Gold Rush has re-acquired the San Angelo setting for Champions from Hero.  The San Angelo setting was originally created for San Angelo:  City of Heroes, which was published by Gold Rush in 1998 for use in Champions campaigns.  Two supplements were subsequently published -- Enemies of San Angelo and Denizens of San Angelo.  In 2000, Gold Rush transferred the rights to these publications to Hero Games.  DOJ, which bought the Hero Games assets from Cybergames last year (see 'New Owners Revive Hero Games') also acquired the San Angelo setting as part of that acquisition.  Now Gold Rush has the setting back, along with the rights to publish new San Angelo materials using the Hero System 5th Edition game system.  A new edition of the core book, City of Heroes, will be released next spring, with supplements to follow.
