Wizards of the Coast will change its Duel Deck release pattern with Magic: The Gathering Duel Decks: Koth vs. Venser, switching to releasing its Planeswalker vs. Planeswalker Duel Decks in the spring, and its faction vs. faction Duel Decks closer to the release of the October large set release.  This will allow WotC to tie the Duel Decks into the large set more closely. 

M:TG Duel Decks: Koth vs. Venser is designed by Chris Millar and Mark Gottlieb.  They include two premium foil, alternate art Mythic rare Planeswalker cards and two 60-card decks.  Koth looks to Venser to help defend Mirrodin against Phyrexia, and the players recreate the struggle to save Mirrodin.
