A new featurette for the Battleship feature shows the backstory that explains why the aliens come to earth in the first place (hint: we invited them).  It looks like Universal is taking no chances that the movie will be underexposed.  It doesn’t open in the U.S. until May 18th, and in addition to this featurette there are also three trailers (see "Third 'Battleship' Trailer").
